What You Need to Know

In September, suppliers will receive an invitation to the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP), a free tool for viewing purchase orders, creating catalogs, creating and sending invoices electronically, checking the status of transactions, and more. FAQs about this tool can be found here. 

Please note that Cortland Build will continue to operate through our legacy systems. This means that existing purchasing, invoice processing, and payment channels will not change between vendors and Cortland Build. 

Your Invoicing Options

Following this October’s transition, Cortland suppliers will be required to submit invoices electronically through Coupa. Suppliers will have the opportunity to select one of our two invoicing options. Regardless of the invoicing option chosen, suppliers will not be charged a fee. 

Here are the options for future invoicing: 

  1. Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP): Suppliers will view POs and submit invoices in the CSP.  
  2. cXML Transmission: Suppliers opt to send their invoice information in an Invoice Detail Request cXML format and post the file directly to Coupa via an HTTP post.

Important Dates

Here are a few upcoming dates to keep in mind:

  • October 20th, 2025: Invitations to join the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) go out 
  • October 19th, 2025: Last day to submit invoices for completed work to Ops Technology 
  • October 24th, 2025: Deadline to register for the CSP 
  • October 27th, 2025: Coupa goes live
